Watch Code Break June 10 @ 1:00pm ET

June 9, 2020 By STEM2Hub

Code.org Code Break

Since Code Break began, we’ve seen guests from different backgrounds and industries come together with students from across the globe. We thank you for continuing to tune-in, interact with us, and support computer science learning in your home. As the school year comes to an end, this week’s Code Break will also be our last and we have an extra special episode planned!

Last week, we welcomed Susan Wojcicki and China Anne McClain on Code Break to discuss abstraction. If you missed it, you can still watch the episode and try the activities.  This week, we’re excited to welcome singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc, President and COO of Salesforce, Bret Taylor, and Senior Software Engineer Manager at Microsoft, Paola Mejia Minaya. Together we’ll learn all about how computers work.

The last episode: Wednesday, June 10th @ 1:00pm ET

To participate:

  • Add Code Break to your calendar
  • Zoom Update Required: Zoom recently launched a mandatory update with new security features, and you will be unable to join without first downloading the latest version of Zoom. However, you can also watch on Zoom via your browser or, you can tune-in live on YouTube.
  • 2 minutes before the episode, visit this page for the link to join Zoom.
  • Bring a pen + paper
