Million Women Mentors

Are you a STEM professional looking for a way to share your knowledge? Participating in Million Women Mentors is a great way to do that, where you can work with girls and women in STEM fields and careers. Be the one that helps a girl or woman develop an interest in STEM, graduate with a STEM degree, and/or persist and succeed in STEM. We know there is a need as only 15% of high school girls express an interest in even pursuing STEM in high school. While women comprise nearly 50% of the workforce in the United States, women only make up 24% of the STEM workforce. Through STEM mentorship, we can help move the needle.

MWM’s program gives STEM professionals a choice of mentorship opportunities (face-to-face, online, paid internships or apprenticeships, workplace mentoring, or sponsorship) in order to reach and assist young women of all demographics. MWM’s vision is for a STEM revolution-one mentor, and one girl, at a time. We’ve already seen some amazing progress, but imagine what could happen if every STEM professional made a commitment to mentoring one-on-one for just two hours a month. We could truly have an impact. Pledge to mentor today, and find your next mentoring opportunity today.
